Portraits have always been my favorite way to express myself. I love to draw and paint people. They have the most interesting shapes. But more than that, I really enjoy the feeling it gives me to present someone with my interpretation of an idea. Especially if it makes a connection with the viewer.

In the Pumpkins

(Private Collection) This portrait is done from a photograph at a local pumpkin patch. The portrait is of a small child sitting in a wheelbarrow full of pumpkins. This portrait warms my heart.
