Art Northwest

Art Northwest came to fruition in 2002, a year after my lovely wife gave
us our beautiful daughter. Not only did my wife give me my daughter,
she gave me the gift of time to...to spend each day with my daughter
and my canvas, to do exactly what I was placed here on earth to do, to
teach and create.
Each morning I wake up, step into my studio, with the northern light
beaming onto the easel, smell the paint, thank the Lord, and get a crazy
urge to give the world a message of color, image, feeling and meaning.
I have learned color is life, color is love. Images transform from my
emotions, to my hand, through the brush, into color and form, onto
canvas.

Thank you to my mentor, my Great Aunt Barbara Packard, professional
artist, who inspired me to develop my talent and believe in myself. I will
be forever grateful for her teachings and patience.
My studio is in Graham, Washington, where I produce my work with the
